I want to detox, but where do I start?
DETOX 101 - Vanessa Case RHN
2 Litres of water/day (8 glasses) no tap water only bottled spring water. Add the juice of half a lemon and a dash of cayenne pepper (if you so choose) to a room temperature or warm glass of water each morning and feel free to drink throughout the day.
Begin to eliminate all refined and concentrated sugars and white processed carbohydrates, all caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate, colas), and all alcohol. You may use stevia and herbal teas as a replacement. If you are a pop drinker opt for Perrier and a dash of fruit juice to sweeten as you prepare to move away from all carbonated drinks.
Follow a coffee reduction plan.
Never use a microwave for food preparation. Microwave removes nutrients and enzymes from our food.Avoid the use of aluminum cookware whenever possible.
Wash all produce thoroughly using a natural veggie wash.

1 cup filtered water
1 cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp baking soda
1/2 of a lemon
Squeeze lemon. Add to a clean sink, add your produce, and let it go to work!
